Built half a century ago, Sonnenring still looks modern and well maintained. It is composed of two arc shaped buildings, the larger one to the East and smaller one to the West. Situated at South of Sachsenhausen on the top of a small hill, it offers some of the condo a great view of the city of Frankfurt am Main. The rest is unfortunately blocked by a tall apartment building to the North.The complex has a very spacious garden with children playground and an indoor all weather swimming pool.Though Sonnenring is at the outskirt of the city, it is well connected by buses. The Sudbahnhof (Southern train station) or Lokalbahnhof is within walking distance, less than 15 minutes away leisurely. Tegut, a higher end supermarket (though not a big one and pricer than average supermarket) is just across the road while you can find many alternatives like HIT, Edeka, Rewe, Aldi within 1.5km circle for your groceries. Also, the beautiful city forest is close by where you can enjoy jogging, strolling, cycling, dog walking, horse riding, picnicking, etc. If you like watching aeroplanes, the complex is under the air corridor leading to the Frankfurt airport. Of course, some will find the noise a nuisance.This is an ideal place to lead a quality life or raise your family as it has everything to offer, the tranquility and serenity of a suburban environment yet convenience and proximity to lively city life.
