Do not use this service. I have booked this service twice and both experiences were bad. The first time was August of 2021. My spouse had been gone for a few weeks and I needed help cleaning. I booked an appointment for multiple hours, I believe 8 hours. Come the day and time I waited for 30 minutes past my appointment and no one showed up. I called and was told they would look into it. It took another 30 minutes and I was given a half hearted apology and told another cleaner would come in an hour. I waited and 2 cleaner came and worked for about 5.5 hours. I wasn't sure why 2 were now sent instead of 1 but figured they might just want to make the total man hours" and they cleaned. These cleaners spoke almost no English despite the service promising English speaking cleaners. Afterwards I got my bill and it was not for the initial 8 hours of 1 cleaner but for 2 cleaners for the duration of cleaning. (the cost of 1 cleaner for 11 hours.)Since I had received that service I just took that hit and let the payment go through

I recently used SPIC AND SPAN for a home cleaning and I couldn't be happier with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and thorough in their cleaning. Do not book Spic and Span cleaning services. I had an appointment booked with this company for a home cleaning and paid a deposit beforehand. The cleaner not only didn't show up, but they also were not able to find another cleaner to cover. The customer service representative was responsive but I had to continually keep contacting her to get updated on the situation. The company offered to rebook the following week after I explained that I needed my home cleaned that day because of company coming. They didn't even offer a discount to rebook. Do not book with this company if you want a reliable cleaner.

Hired them - I am based out of Kaiserslautern. Cleaners came to my house and did a good job until I went upstairs and recognized my emergency exit window was completely broken and off the hinges. We contacted Spic and Span and they refused to take any responsibility since they contracted the cleaners out. They gave us the contact information for the cleaners who apologized for breaking the window and not telling me but they said they could not afford to pay it. After months of going back and forth with spic and spans customer service, they refused time and time again to pay for any damages. They didn't offer ANYTHING in return. They did not even assist ONE bit I'm dealing with the contractors. Long story short, I had to pay out of pocket £1800 to get my window replaced. The lack of responsibility and customer care at this company is the worst I have ever experienced in my entire life. Overall, the cleaning was standard, but tread carefully because if anything goes wrong, they'll turn the other way and leave you stranded.

They were very bad at responding. I called on a Thursday and was offered a cleaning on Saturday; after calling and emailing multiple times on both Thurs. and Fri. I received no response. I then called on Saturday (the day offered) and described the situation; I was met with a very aggressively rude and doubtful staff that offered me the following Thursday as an option, despite what I had already been offered. I was trying to be as polite as possible, but they were very adamant about saying how wrong I was and how they didn't care what I did.I haven't received the cleaning as I am writing this on the day I was supposed to have the cleaning and now have to wait 5 more days past the day promised to see their quality of cleaning.I would say this was a very bad customer service experience, and I sensed the agent who helped me didn't like Americans because, right off the bat, they were rude and belittling.If you are American, tread softly; for some reason, it seems like they, unfortunately, don't like Americans or non-Germans which is sad in this day and age in 2023.

Scam, do not use. Not even going to list the issues. Just look at the reviews and tell me they are real. Don't see any German names and the only American I see gives the same one star review. This is not a real cleaning company, do not book them.

Spic and Span scam! I booked 2 hours and the cleaning crew was there for 1 hour 45 minutes. Then I was charged for 4 hours. When I inquired, I received a rude email saying my place was disgusting and it took the crew 4 hours. Their crew sent them pictures of a disgusting, DIFFERENT house, trying to claim 4 hours. The cleaning team runs a scam and the customer service agents are absolutely rude. I was then asked to send them photos of my apartment to prove they were lying. Just absolutely unprofessional, untrustworthy, and poor customer service. I do not recommend this company at all.
