Smith Elementary School

Fun and active school starting at Kindergarten to 5th grade.There's a nice playground in the back.Classrooms are decent sized and so far the teachers that come through here have been great.They offer many fun activities, after school activities, sports and summer programs.School has no parking for parents though, so finding parking is a huge issue when dropping off and picking up your kids. Parking in housing is not permitted and you will be given citations if you park there with a 3 strike rule leading to severe consequences for anyone that parks in housing. Walking is best or street parking or parking at a few currently empty buildings/ parking lots.The school is located within a quarter to a half of a mile from other parks, CDC (child care) post office, java cafe, the Rheinland center, ACS, banks, IACS, thrift store, barber/hair stylist, drivers center, self help, PX, commissary, cell phone and cable services, car care center, restaurants, gyms, movie theater, bowling alley and hotel.

I went to school here in 89-92

Great school, went here from 2010 to 2013 and I loved it, great playground and teachers, I don't know if she's still there but the principal was really funny. Also, it's really easy to walk to if you live nearby.
