Kapaun Air Station

Stationed there 92-94,USAF CES! fun times!

I visited this place in 1990 and it was magnificent! It's not a tourist location and I can't talk about the vast majority of what made it so amazing. Maybe most of it has been declassified in the last 30+ years but I can't confirm so I won't discuss those. I will say, if you don't have the security clearance, probably not worth the trip.

Stationed in Germany with the Air Force back in the day and Kapaun was the small Base with just about everything you needed. Really close to Ramstein Air Base.
