Great food! Very good prices. The flavours of all the elements were very good. The atmosphere and service could do with a bit of work. The place is quite small.

Ehrlich gesagt verstehe ich den Hype um dieses Lokal nicht. Der Laden ist sehr klein, was an sich erstmal nicht stört, dafür war es aber sehr kalt. Das Personal war ganz nett, aber mehr auch nicht. Nachdem wir geordert hatten, mussten wir uns immer wieder bemerkbar machen, wenn wir etwas bestellen wollten. Die rote Beete in unserem Gericht wurde komplett vergessen. Bei Nachfrage wurde uns erklärt, dass diese noch nicht fertig war. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung oder das Angebot, diese uns später nachzureichen, aber den vollen Preis haben wir bezahlt (30 Euro für die gemeinsame Platte). Der Rest war geschmacklich sehr gut, aber auch nichts Besonderes. Der Salat war leider nicht mehr frisch sondern schon braun. Vielleicht hatten wir an diesem Tag auch einfach nur Pech. Möglicherweise ist es für Touristen etwas Besonderes für uns jedenfalls nicht. Schade.

Ein sehr authentischer Äthiopier, dessen Gerichte gut gewürzt sind.Wir waren von einigen Kreationen wie den Kartoffeln oder Linsen Gerichten angetan.Service ist ausbaufähig. Ambiente sehr stimmig und eine gute Atmosphäre. Getränke recht teuer.

Personal sehr nett, Essen war flott fertig und hat unglaublich lecker geschmeckt. Macht übelst Spaß mit den Händen zu essen und so wirklich mit allen Sinnen zu genießen. Gerne wieder ❤️

I recently dined at an Ethiopian restaurant, and the overall experience was average.The food at the restaurant was decent, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. Unfortunately, the portions were not substantial for two people and it felt like we received more bread than actual food. This left me feeling a bit unsatisfied with the overall meal.Another disappointing aspect was the restaurant's payment policy. They did not accept card payments, which was inconvenient for me as I prefer using cards for transactions. Additionally, I found the staff to be somewhat rude, which added to the overall underwhelming experience.While I believe it's worth giving this restaurant a try once to experience Ethiopian cuisine in shillerkitz, I can't say that I was thoroughly impressed. There are certainly areas where they can improve, definitely.

The food was tasty and I like the spiciness of the sauce. The service on the other hand is questionable. We weren’t informed that there was a limited time that we could enjoy our dinner. The bill was given to us right after the staff cleared our plates and we were not even half way through our drinks that we just ordered. The waitress just said that there were people waiting outside and she needed us to give up the table.I understand that the restaurant is small and they try to accommodate everyone but this is not the way to do it! You’re going to lose customers because of your greediness of trying to get people in and out as fast as possible. I don’t know if I would return. The food was good but does it worth being treated badly?

Really tasty food that you will have to eat and experience with your hands. The mixed flavours are delicious and the portions huge. There are plenty vegan options and all of them great. We ordered 3 dishes to share by 4 people and it was more than enough food for all of us. Service was very nice as well. I totally recommend the place. However, the local is very small so you must need to wait a bit in order to get a place. Really tasty food great for sharing.

Fantastic! My first time having Ethiopian food outside of USA, and this was delicious! I love the Germanization of the Ethiopian dishes, very tasty! Can I bring this place back to Palm Springs, CA with me???

Das Nationalgericht Äthiopiens war mit Hähnchen und gekochtem Ei, sehr schmackhaft, lecker würzig und pikant. Dazu noch die warme Gemüseplatte. Es war sehr reichlich. Eine tolle Experience. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Essen sehr lecker und preis Leistung passt. Sehr gut besucht. Hatten einen Tisch reserviert und auch mit kleiner Wartezeit zeitnah einen Tisch bekommen. Uns wurde nach einer Stunde die Rechnung hingelegt da noch weitere Personen gewartet haben. Das ist an sich verständlich aber man hätte es ein wenig besser Kommunizieren können dass man den Tisch brauchte. Ansonsten alles top!
