Flughafen München

Much organised, wide open, airy, bright and full of facilities. Staff is much helpful.Airport has good connection of train service which is around 25mins away from the main city.Really like duty free shop and drink place. Plenty of eating & drinking places around.There are long queues because of international airport but they have more windows to handle that easily.

Organised, clean airport. There are 2 terminals. There was a slight confusion with regards to our terminal but the boards at T1 were showing flights only for the next 2 hours so it was a hassle going back and forth. Ehen we asked around some people said T1 and others said T2. This could easily be solved if the flight information board could show a longer list of flights with the terminals clearly mentioned. It would be much easier for people who are transiting, especially when they are not familiar with the layout of the airport. Everything else is great.

I loved this airport, very clean, organised, well presented information, delicious sandwiches, lots of seating areas. Checkin could be done online or by self check in machines, the border officers were very respectful and very welcoming.

Awful experience. Terminal 1 is an absolute nightmare. Disgusted and disappointed. The standard is on par with what you expect in a provincial third world country airport. If you are forced to fly from here make sure to be as late as possible to minimize the traumatic airport experience. Dirty. Hardly any food and drink options. Bins overflowing with rubbish (I expecet anytime to see rodents feasting). Hardly any shopping options. Shame on Munich otherwise very pleasant city but this disgusting nightmare is ruining my perception of the city. I just really hope my flight is on time so I don't have to spend anymore time in here. This being said no will not be back and will not recommend

I generally avoid flying through Germany because of my experiences at Frankfurt airport. It’s too big, too busy and too impersonal. This was the first time I was flying through Munich, not by choice, but because my flights was canceled and the system automatically rebooked me on a flight thru Munich.The airport was a pleasant surprise. It’s small and cozy. In contrast to the security screening at Frankfurt which was such a hassle with long lines and increased level of security checks. I remember one time they prohibited an article that were allowed by the originating airport and I had no option but to discard it.In Munich they don’t recheck your cabin bags and the immigration check was very quick. The staff are very efficient and polite. Perhaps some more of warmth may have been good but I can’t complain.Overall a great experience!

Modern, and well-organized wide range of amenities, including numerous dining options, shopping outlets, and relaxation areas. Excellent facilities, cleanliness, and overall passenger experience.Customer service and staff are professional and helpful. The airport's focus in sustainability and environmental initiative is impressive. I was reading online it’s considered one of the top airports globally in terms of customer satisfaction and experience.

I love this airport! It’s very clean, elegant and quiet, suitable for working and resting in the nap-cabs from gate L.It has a lot of skincare cosmetics brands diversity in the duty free, which I haven’t seen in the other airports. I was pleasantly surprised to find Augustinus Bader skincare products, for example.The chairs are quite comfortable and toilets are very clean. There are also several Winston Smoking Lounges for the smokers out there. The food court has few places to have some Italian food or different sandwiches, pretzels, pastries.I would always choose a layover here!

So clean! So we’ll air conditioned! Easy to get help! Lovely shops! Clean bathrooms! Be aware you will have to go through extra checkpoints if you are flying to America… no big deal, but if you want to shop, shop first! Then go to your gate with an hour to wait! They do have restrooms after the second checkpoint, but no shops, and only two very limited food options. Thank you for the clean airport!

It is always a pleasure to have a layover here. The airport is clean, quiet and well organized. Very well connected to the city center by train or bus. It has many relaxing and sleeping areas, even some booths (napcabs) that you can rent for a minimum of 2 hours. It is also possible to take a shower if you want.For the ones of you who want to work or have an online meeting, this airport is a great choice as it is not so crowded neither too loud.
