The place says it's open till 01:00 AM, we arrived at 11:10 PM, waited for a waiter so we are not rude, one passed by so we figured we can sit(on the terrace, while half was full). We sat down, started looking at the menu and a couple minutes later a waiter comes waving from afar and says No food here!" Like we were some hobos ... Great welcoming."

the place was wonderful!! interior was as great as menu. we preffered to drink glühwein. service was perfect and they gave us free berliner luft to taste. and also shot glass for souvenirs

Had the salmon and avocado dish which was very tasty. Nice atmosphere in the place as well with the big wooden bar and red benches. Would visit again.

Eine Bar, ein Café und ein Restaurant gemeinsam - funktioniert hier aus meiner Sicht nicht wirklich gut.Ein Bier ist ein Bier und schmeckt auch wie ein Bier. Die Preise sind dafür in Ordnung.Aber ein Burger ist nicht gleich ein Burger. In meinem Fall ein Chicken Burger.Die Buns viel zu hart und die Hähnchenbrust viel zu trocken gebraten. Wirklich schwer zu beschreiben aber man musste mit den Zähnen und dem Messer wirklich richtig Kraft aufwenden, um das Fleisch zu teilen.Allgemein wirkte die Einrichtung Recht leer und das an einem Donnerstag Abend in Berlin.Außen hui

My friends and I had dinner here. None of us enjoyed our food. The vegetarian pizza was flavorless, and our pastas were on the sour side and quite oily. It gave me and my friend stimach problems later on in the night. It was most definitely not worth the price. We also had to pay in cash for a reason I don't remember. They didnt tell us this before we sat down, causing my friend to have to get up and walk to the atm whilst we were having our drinks. Overall it was just a bad experience. The two stars are for the staff, who were nice.

A little disappointed with this place. Service was average not very friendly or prompt. I ordered the vegetable tagliatelle which I think was undercooked as it was quite tough to chew and the sauce was quite watery as well but I was so hungry I ate it anyway. The menu also didn’t have a diverse range of vegetarian options.

I've just been in berlin for 3 days and came here twice, even tho it was a 30 min walk from my hotel. First time we shared bruschetta and had drinks, second time ice creams and drinks. Just a nice vibe (even tho on busy corner) and good service. Cash only but they warn you of this straight away.

The Grand Bar was an amazing experience to eat on the patio while visiting Berlin. We had great service and the weather was perfect. Food was amazing. We ordered the fettuccine with veal strips and porcini mushrooms definitely a five star, and the Jager schnitzel that was about a three star but not totally disappointed.. if you get the chance, stop take a rest and enjoy a meal!

Excellent spot. Arrived late from the UK. Excellent food from the kitchen, backed up by the same service from Happy - who did a great job of looking after us!
