Während der Corona Pandemie ist diese Schule anderen Bildungseinrichtungen stets einen Schritt voraus. Bereits ab dem ersten Tag des ersten Lockdowns erhielten die Schüler online Distanzunterricht. Im Laufe des Jahres 2020 erarbeitete die Schule Konzepte und der Unterricht wurde stets der aktuellen Pandemieentwicklung angepasst (Präsenzunterricht /Wechselunterricht /Homescooling). Die Sicherheit der Schüler und der Lehrkräfte steht hier an erster Stelle und trotzdem wird die Bildung nicht vernachlässigt. Das ist eine großartige Leistung der Schulleitung und der Lehrkräfte und trotzdem gibt es einen Punktabzug für die Klax Schule aufgrund des häufigen Lehrerwechsels.

Klax was our first school in Berlin after moving from UK. I believe they are great alternative to state schools.They offer great number of educational activities, emphasising on art related disciplines. The classes are really small and kids get individual attention, my daughter even had individual German language schedule. They also well funded and all the amenities are great. School covers childcare for all the holidays, which is a plus for working parents.

Seems like this institution is mostly after your money. We have signed a contract with the verbal confirmation from one of the staff that we can cancel it at any time, if we change our mind. We ended up having to pay the full first semester even though our son never set foot on the school premises.

Die reinste Katastrophe diese Schule.Ich zahle massenweise Schulgebühren für schlechte Leistungen, fachlich, organisatorisch, menschlich etc.Seit der Einschulung meines Kindes hatten wir 8 Lehrerwechsel. Ich besuche die Klax Schule seit 8. Jahren. Ich gehe sehr gern in die Schule. Mittlerweile bin ich in der bilingualem Klasse und es klappt wunderbar. An der Schule gefällt mir besonders unser digitales Konzept und das Herzstück der Schule, unser „Makerspace“. Wir haben sogar in diesem Schuljahr den nationalen Schulpreis für unsere Erfindungen gewonnen. Tolle Lehrer und internationale Gemeinschaft.

The school is moving in the right direction. Things aren't perfect but there's a new headteacher with a new leadership structure and changes are happening. The children look happy and the staff are engaged and work hard. I think the school's concept is great and the school building feels open and fresh.

DO NOT sign a contract with this school if: 2) there is any chance, however small, you will not be attending -- they will demand payment even if your child doesn't set foot on campus; or 2) you expect basic, timely, professional communication.I was initially excited about my son attending Klax, but the unprofessional, rude way in which we have been treated since my husband's job transfer out of the country has completely changed that. I guess that's because Klax has their money, and that's all that matters to them -- a sentiment shared by others here.We were up front about the chance that my husband might be transferred by his company out of the country. We were told decisions like this would be made upon a case-by-case basis but that a mandatory job transfer out of the country would not be an issue. Fast forward to now: After giving Klax more than 4 months' notice (more than the standard three months for contracts in Germany) so they could fill the spot, they are refusing to budge. Our multiple emails and phone calls have gone unanswered and unreturned, until we finally got the principal on the phone. She was downright rude and told us, essentially, too bad.This blatant money grab is infuriating, especially knowing that Klax has a waiting list. These fees will be a big financial hit for our family. STAY AWAY unless you're 100% sure your child will be attending, or else you'll be paying hundreds every month for nothing.
