Service is nice and people are really friendly and multilingual :DFood is also tasty! However, here is the reason for 3 star:I came here 4 times with very high expectations and excitement and in all times with different friends. 3 times out of these, everything was sold out except manty from the menu. And even that only beef one… We thought we can have salad at least, but even that was sold out.If you want to eat something from menu during the weekend, you definitely need to come earlier.

If you're looking for authentic Uzbek food, Taste of Samarkand is a must-visit restaurant. I recently had the pleasure of dining there and was blown away by the delicious flavours and welcoming atmosphere. On the day of my visit, they were having a great discount in honour of the religious holiday of Ramadan. I ordered a combo of plov salad samsa and manty. Everything was succulent, moderately fatty, fresh. The meat in plov was perfectly cooked, which to me is important in this dish. The addition of carrots, onions and sultanas gave a nice sweetness to the dish, which complemented the savoury taste of the meat. The plov and manty alone are worth a visit to this restaurant, but there are many other fantastic dishes on the menu. I'm very glad that such a restaurant has appeared, as I sometimes miss our cuisine very much.

Very tasty traditional Uzbek cuisine. Samsa is the best I have ever tried. Manty are also excellent: not grinded, but chopped, as they should be. Plov is also good, just doesn't stand out like the other dishes. Meat is a bit dry there. They have just recently opened, so still figuring out the service, it's a bit rough. No card payment currently, which is a big downside for me. Hope to see it soon.I'd also like to see tomato juice among the drinks. It goes very well with plov.I have visited this place two times already and will come again.

Overall great food, a small choice but everything is fresh and very well made. Minus a star ⭐️ due to the disorganized way of serving food. We booked a table for 8, and things came all in random times and to wrong people, so we couldn’t really all eat together.

Super nice discovery! My Plov was fabulous, rice cooked with carrots, resins, beef chunks all cooked for hours with oil and onions. Very sweet, super tasty and meat is just a nice addition, definitely worthy also without it. My girlfriend had manti, stuffed ravioli, also good and similar to Turkish cuisine.

Wow! Having never seen an Uzbeki restaurant, I was excited to try this and it did not disappoint. Fresh ingredients, unique flavors, and a good variety of dishes. Can’t go wrong with the mixed plate to sample a bit of everything. I must say, the waiter was incredible. He was the only one working the entire restaurant, inside and out, and he was doing it expertly. A great experience!

It is a good place to eat Uzbek food. I took a plate with plov, Samsa and manty. Overall everything was tasty for a good price (15 euros for a plate). However, the manty was a bit dry: maybe they made it several hours before and just heated up before serving. The staff was friendly and they can speak Russian.I recommend this place to visit.NOTE: they accept only cash

It's exciting to see an Uzbek cafe to open in the heart of Kreuzberg. Simple interior (but there is one table where you can sit on the floor cushions!), simple menu starring traditional dishes like manty, plov and traditional Soviet desserts (Napoleon and Medovik). Friendly service, only cash. The food was good, but unfortunately plov didn't feel authentic (it was tasty, just don't expect authentic taste), Napoleon was great. Would come again to try other dishes!
