LRMC (Landstuhl Regional Medical Center)

The staff is cruel and heartless. I was trying to locate my brother in an emergency and the only thing they could do was complain about the time of morning that i called. Just turn your phones off if you’d rather sleep.

If you love medical negligence then you will love LRMC. I was treated by 3 different doctors in the ER and 2 almost killed me. I was discharged before labs came back and I had a nasty infection that almost killed me. I had to hospitalized at the German hospital because of the ER. The other doctor I saw for mental health issues in the ER and he failed to treat me then falisfied my medical records. The ER and DHA covered up that issue and it happened during Suicide Awareness Month on the 6th day. And the last doctor I saw twice once for chest pains from an infection, discharged me without running labs and didn't give me medicine. Then I saw him a 2nd time for a back issue. He did not do an exam and gave me a muscle relaxer and argued with me about my genetic condition. If you want to be treated poorly then this ER is for you. Otherwise I highly do not recommend this hospital for anything. Do not use the pain management clinic there either. The doctor I had was very rude and got yelled at because I was in tears and the doctor didn't care because I am not active duty. DO NOT USE LRMC FOR ANYTHING.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled, TDY from Kosovo in 2003! Ramstein was a blast and so was K-Town. Is the Green Goose still off limits? Prost!

I had a tonsillectomy here this week and have previously been the the ENT. Dr. McHugh and all of the nurses I've encountered here were kind and professional. All of my questions were answered and they took me more seriously than any other doctor I've seen, both in the US and in Germany. I stayed the night after surgery and the nurses were quick to check on me whenever I called them, and made sure I was comfortable the whole stay. They made sure a scary stressful situation went as well as possible.

I had five teeth removed on the same day in this facility. First, they did not give me a box slip and profile to stay on the quarter. Hopefully, my chain of command did not pay attention to that. It is necessary for the doctor or dentist to prescribe some antibiotics after this kind of surgery, but they did not, probably due to a lack of professionalism. I was in pain for a week, and I went back to explain, and they vanished me. Since the painkiller did not work efficiently, I decided to overuse it. 14 days after the surgery, I developed bad breath, fever and kept bleeding and also had a swollen face. The dentist realized I was not lying and prescribed antibiotics. I find it shameful that a military installation doesn't care about the health of its patients and soldiers. The infection was so severe that I was unable to open my mouth to eat. I was even turning my neck. I have consistently pain on my jaw. They need to investigate the personal working in this facility.

Worst military hospital. Never any parking, even with an appointment you will still wait 1 hour to be seen. The ER here is ridiculous, worst ER ever in the military. When in the ER it seems that they love to take their sweet time doing anything. It would be better to just go off base and have tricare cover the bill.

I'm disappointed with Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. I had a wonderful experience during my second C-Section, February 2021, with the OB/GYN Clinic. I am disappointed that the OB/GYN Clinic at LRMC is only offering care to Kaiserslautern locals in a Space A" capacity. I scheduled an appointment on 17 November 2022

OBGYN, laboratory, radiology, L&D are all fantastic. I've never had a bad experience with them. The parking sucks but that's because there's just a lot of people LRMC serves. Hands down, best hospital I've been to.

Beyond awful how military families are forced to use this facility and how military members are cared for out here. Holding against persons will and not ensuring a contact with family in the hospital. Beyond disgusted. Avoid at any cost. Go to economy hospitals, they treat people like animals here

The pediatric team is great! They really listen to your concerns and are timely with appointments. The pharmacy was very quick. I worked here several years ago, and I'm delighted to see that it is still a top notch military hospital. I'm always happy when I get to leave positive ICE comments.
