Ich find es top, dass hier mal jemand den ersten Schritt tut, um Missstände bei Investoren für Gründer transparenter zu machen. Ich kann dem Vorgänger-Kommentar aus unserer Erfahrung nur beipflichten; LBBW Venture Capital ist für Startups ein super Pain. In der Berliner Startup-Szene ist das schon bekannt. Nicht alles kann von jeder Seite beim Funding Raising perfekt laufen, aber was dieser Investor an Langsamkeit und outdated Mindset an den Tag legt, übertrifft dann doch die meisten. Alles wurde gebremst und am Ende keine Benefits gebracht, aber dafür viele Versprechungen.Geld gibt es für top Startups gerade überall. Als Gründer muss man nicht alles mitmachen!

LBBW VC is a great investor. The team has supported us since the beginning with advice, meaningful input, and action without creating unnecessary overhead. The fundraising process was straight-forward, too. For that reason, I do not understand and share some of the previous comments.From my personal perspective and experience I can say that they are among the few that actually dare to invest into truly innovative technology with the potential to make a difference rather than just following the current buzz and VC herd.Above all the clever open-mindedness to explore and challenge different ideas and approaches from go-to-market to technology development is very valuable.Our experience is also that even when things do not go according to plan, they stick to the team, the company, the vision and help to pull through and make it a success.

I want to take this opportunity to warn other founders of going into deeper assessment or even funding with this VC.The process of LBBW Venture Capital is just horrendous. Incredibly conservative, incredibly slow and slowing down the whole funding process, while being super unstructured at the same time. The whole thing just seemed unprofessional in the end, and was very frustrating.We were in contact with them in 2020 and a bit desperate due to COVID, but preferred to take the risk and end the process with LBBW, and focus on other investors - who were much more structured and fast.This VC just needs to become more up to date! No one cares about their public bank in the background - which doesn’t provide any use in the end anyway. There’s absolutely no reason or benefit that would justify putting up with LBBW VC’s outdated way of working.
